JOIN CRYSTAL COVE ALLIANCE! Support the restoration of the historic Crystal Cove Beach Cottages and development of innovative educational and environmental public programs! LOCATED IN THE HEART OF CRYSTAL COVE State Park’s 3.5 miles of pristine coastline, the Historic District first developed as a South Seas movie set due to its seclusion and tropical aura. The community thrived and became beloved for its relaxed, friendly atmosphere and picturesque landscape; and in 1979, the Crystal Cove State Park Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. BUILT AS A SEASIDE COLONY in the 1930’s & ‘40’s, Crystal Cove endures as a magical escape for visitors who appreciate the opportunity to experience California’s natural and architectural beauty, untouched by time. THANKS TO THE EFFORTS OF CRYSTAL COVE ALLIANCE, all of the original cottages are still standing today – spared from the hands of developers. Twenty-one cottages have already been authentically restored to reflect the era between 1935 and 1955, when the Cove evolved as a community. In addition, new educational and environmental public programs are now being developed. WE INVITE YOU TO EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF CRYSTAL COVE as it existed in the 1930s to ‘50s with a stay in one of eleven(11) Individual or three(3) Dorm-Style Cottages. Located directly on the beach or overlooking the seaside from a bluff top, each cottage has been painstakingly restored and furnished to recreate Crystal Cove’s unique vintage beach culture and rustic ambiance. Reservations are available year-round. CRYSTAL COVE ALLIANCE (CCA), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, is the official concessionaire for Crystal Cove Beach Cottages and non-profit partner with California State Parks. CCA has played an integral part in the preservation and restoration of the cottages. As a non-profit public benefit organization, CCA remains dedicated to raising the funds necessary to restore the remaining 24 cottages in Phases II & III and developing new educational and environmental public programs.
